Consciousness meets Intelligence
IQ follows expanded consciousness
The results indicate that those who have the biggest attention span also have the highest IQ score, showing that there is a relationship between consciousness, IQ score and intelligence. Enlarging the scope of a persons immediate attention span expands his consciousness and increases his IQ and intelligence.
Nr. items
The test measures how many letters, numbers, words or sentences the subject can be totally conscious of by visual means. To see the string of items clearly within his immediate attention span. To date, 54 people have taken the test. The total average of how many items one subject could "contain" or be totally conscious of was about 6 items. The lowest average score was 3 and the highest average score was 14. The lowest personal score was 1 item and the highest personal score was 23 items.
IQ equivalent
To put the test into perspective I compared typical IQ test scores to the Immediate Attention Span test scores. As I got more personal information from the test subjects I discovered that there was a relationship between the attention scores and IQ scores. A subject who had a large attention span also had high IQ scores and vice versa.
Test scores
Most of the test subjects, or 40%, could be totally conscious of 5-6 items at any one time, meaning their IQ was above average. The numbers gradually decreased upwards and downwards from that, leaving about 3.1% in the below average range and only about 1% in the super genius range.
The following is a comparison of the Immediate Attention Span test results, the typical IQ measurement scores and the score percentage.
